39TH AVENUE DANCE AND FITNESS IS NOW OFFERING A VARIETY OF FITNESS CLASSES FOR THOSE LOOKING TO GET IN SHAPE.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS GROUP FITNESS CLASS:

Objective: To introduce students to a fitness lifestyle that engages and increases your core and cardiovascular endurance with music while having fun at the same time. With a strong commitment and support students will achieve proper technique, individual fitness goals and nutritional consciousness. This is an excellent alternative for those who don’t like the gym and want to have fun getting fit.
Introduction classes are $20.

Attire: Comfortable wear that is form fitting
Example: Sneakers, tights, sportswear
*Feel free to wear joggers/sweats when it gets colder.
*NO JEANS
*You may bring a towel if you desire

 

Training Synopsis: (All fundamentals will be covered & order subject to readjustment based on course progress)

Core Fitness: Full body 10 minute stretch followed by 15 minute intensive core exercises with music. There will be a 5 minute rest in-between followed by 15 minute burn out exercises. The class will always conclude with stretches to reduce tightness & cramping.

Dance Fitness: Full body stretched followed by a breakdown of choreography dance moves for the first 15 minutes. A nonstop dance set for 20 minutes follows. 5-10 minute intermission follows. Another 20 minute nonstop dance set follows. To conclude, stretch exercises. Latin, House, Top 40, & Hip Hop music will be played. Legitimate dance and core workout techniques will also be learned.

Stretch Core: This course entails a 100% focus on stretching, meditation, balancing and relaxing your muscles while engaging your core. The full hour is based on these principles that are essential in muscle and spiritual development. No sneakers and you may bring a stretch or yoga mat but not necessary.

Cardio Kickboxing: First 15-20 minutes are focused on stretch, balance & proper striking techniques that engage your core muscles. Next 25 minutes are consists of pure striking & defense. This course concludes with cardio and stretching exercises. You may bring hand wraps for the first course but not necessary. Sneakers OK.
